Support for a New Political Science Undergraduate Program Dealing with Relations Between Europe, the Mediterranean Basin and the Middle East
 Institut d’Etudes Politiques (IEP) in Paris debuted a new undergraduate program of studies in Menton (France) dedicated to relations between Europe, the Mediterranean Basin and the Middle East for the 2005-2006 academic year. Already a partner of the Institute’s Middle East/Mediterranean chair, Total is providing financial support and instructional assistance in the form of undergraduate lectures and practical work.
The program’s purpose is to train Middle Eastern/Mediterranean regional specialists and multicultural managers.

| The first graduating class, enrolled in October 2005, consisted of 30 students, most of them from the Persian Gulf and North Africa. A new graduating class of 40 students integrated the undergraduated program in October 2006. |
