Management: programs

Total has introduced a wide array of management training courses in the last several years.

Total has introduced a wide array of management training courses in the last several years:

•
The five-week Group Management Seminar,
for high-potential managers who may eventually rise to the rank of senior executive.

• General Manager,
which prepares participants to handle the responsibilities specific to the position of subsidiary general manager. The program focuses on three major topics:
• the safety of company assets
• relations with government authorities, institutional contacts and industrial partners
• the entrepreneurial capabilities of the senior executive
• Business Skills,
a nine-day program for managers holding positions of responsibility in the Group, developed jointly with the HEC Paris business school and Oxford Executive Education. These English-language sessions bring together participants from around the world three times a year.

• International Management Seminar,
a shorter version of the Business Skills seminar. It is held in English in different regions of the world and is open to managers of Total’s partner companies.

• Managing Experience,
developed for upper-level managers and senior executives with more than 20 years of professional experience. The seminar is held twice a year, once in French and once in a bilingual session.
