2006 Middle East Seminar

International Relations, Political Issues and Outlook

On November 23 and 24, some one hundred Total employees attended a two-day seminar on the Middle East, organized by Université Total. During the seminar, experts and academics discussed international relations, political, economic and social issues and the outlook for the region.

The first day was dedicated to international relations. Following an opening address by Hubert Loiseleur des Longchamps, Vice President International Relations, experts and academics addressed two topics—political tensions and the role the Middle East plays in international relations.
